She also competed in regional music festivals as a member of her dance school’s competition team and secured many awards.
Tamarind’s passion is choreography and coaching young dancers and her first challenge was choreographing and casting a budget charity performance of Annie the musical for Noah’s Ark Charity.
After completing her A Levels in traditional subjects at Mill Hill County High School she turned down her university place to concentrate on her dance teaching qualifications and she recently completed her DDE in ISTD tap and modern. Her next challenge is the RAD Diploma in Ballet teaching .
Tamarind’s aim is to grow, lead and inspire the next generation of dancers and she looking forward to working with the Jumpup team and dancers on Saturdays at St Mark’s Church in Regent’s Park.
