Susan was born in Sheffield and after living abroad went to boarding School in Hampstead when she started taking Ballet lessons at The Stella Mann School of Dancing.

At age 15 she successfully auditioned for the Royal graduating in 1979.

Susan danced professionally in Ballet companies in the UK, Germany, Covent Garden and the West End and also choreographed and assistant directed until the age of 40.

After her performing career Susan went into casting for TV & Film and worked as a TV Producer in Germany.

Susan is a freelance dance teacher with RAD and ISTD teaching qualifications. She guest teaches and covers RAD and Tap classes forJumpup.
