What dance styles do you teach?
Jumpup teaches RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap, Modern, and Street Dance. We start at the age of 3 and go up until adult.
What do you teach in street dance?
The class starts with stretching and some technique exercises and finishes with a routine which gets added to each week, then gets changed every 3-4 weeks
Is there parking?
There is a paid car park at the 02 centre. Which is free if you shop at Sainsbury’s There is on street parking with no restrictions for our Saturday classes at St Margaret’s and St mark’s Church. At UCL Academy parking is free after 6pm.
There is a car park at the Mill Hill Music complex.
Is there a uniform?
The dancers wear leggings with a jumpup T-shirt and trainers
Do you do exams?
At the moment we don’t offer street dance examinations but we are looking into this at the moment.
What age do you start Streetdance?
We start Street dance at age 5 depending on the venue. Our juniors tend to be age 6-11 and the seniors age 12+
Do you offer adult street dance classes?
Currently we don’t have an adult street class, just ballet but if there is enough demand we will happily add one to the timetable.

JUNIOR STREET DANCE
The junior classes are ideal for young children age 6 to 9 and offer a fun and energetic way to learn dance. The focus on rhythm, basic movements, and simple choreography helps develop coordination and motor skills in a playful environment.
All our students are encouraged to express themselves freely, boosting confidence and creativity and the engaging nature of our classes keeps kids active and excited about learning, whilst fostering a love for dance in a safe and supportive setting.
