We’re so proud to share that Jumpup student Riya Patel has successfully auditioned for a place on the degree course at the Royal Academy of Dance in London! She’ll be starting this exciting new chapter in September 2025, following in the footsteps of her inspiring teachers over the past 13 years — Grace English, Ellie Franklin, and Erna Kuenen.
Riya has been part of the Jumpup family since she was just three years old, training in both ballet and tap all the way up to Intermediate level. Most recently, she passed her Intermediate Ballet examination, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for her.
Congratulations, Riya — your Jumpup family is cheering you on every step of the way!
On June 14th, the talented dancers of the Jumpup Performance Team took the stage at the Alban Arena for Dancemania 2025—and what a show it was!
Performing vibrant and captivating routines choreographed by Bea Hutson and Millie Fielding, the dancers lit up the stage with their energy, passion, and precision. Their hard work and dedication were evident in every step, leaving the audience—especially the proud parents— thrilled.
It was truly an afternoon to remember, and a performance that showcased the talent and spirit of the Jumpup Performance Team
Our “Share the Love Week” at Jumpup Dance Academy was a great success, and the event brought a sense of community and fun to the studio. The teachers created enjoyable and engaging choreography for the classes, which made the experience both exciting and rewarding for all participants. Jumpup dancers were encouraged to invite their friends to join in the celebration, and the studio was decorated with pink balloons, adding a festive touch and in addition, each dancer received a gift to take home as a token of appreciation.
The classes were enjoyable, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that made it easy for everyone to join in and have fun. There was a strong sense of support and encouragement throughout, which helped create a positive and welcoming environment. This made the experience memorable for everyone, fostering a sense of connection and community.
The week also helped introduce new dancers to the school, and by the end of the event, several new students had signed up for regular classes. “Share the Love Week” was a wonderful way to bring people together, celebrate dance, and welcome newcomers to the Jumpup family. We look forward to more events like this in the future to keep spreading the love!
Our Jumpup show “On the box” on April 27 at Mill Hill County High School was great success. All the dancers performed beautifully and we are very proud of them all.
The jumpup team produced some fantastic choreographies.
