ISTD Tap – ISTD Modern – RAD Ballet – Contemporary – Street dance
Megan began her training at the Deborah Capon School of Dance at the age of three, training in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Classical Greek, and National before joining Hasland Dance Studios at fourteen.
In 2014, Megan was awarded the Alison Willett Award at the prestigious ISTD Modern Janet Cram National Finals. She also auditioned successfully for the English National Ballet’s Youth Company (ENBYouthCo) and as a company member performed in the curtain raiser of the English National Ballet’s Modern Masters production at Sadler’s Wells.
In 2015, Megan gained a place at the Institute of Arts Barcelona and she graduated in 2018 with a First Class BA(Hons) Degree in Dance and whilst living in Spain she performed in various productions as well as appearing on Spanish TV.
After graduating Megan spent six months performing in venues in Rhodes, Greece for GoodTime Entertainment as well as teaching for jumpup. She has now completed two contracts at Global Village in Dubai and is represented by an Agency as a professional dancer with teaching experience across many genres.
She has recently completed her ISTD DDE Teaching Qualifications in Ballet, Modern, and Tap with Anna Morgan Dance and has also trained in the ISTD’s new Contemporary Syllabus.
Megan is delighted to return to Jumpup and is looking forward to teaching the Tap and Ballet classes on Tuesdays in Mill Hill and passing on her valuable skills.
