I started dancing with Miss Erna when I was around seven years old, which is where I first discovered my love for dance and especially tap.
Since then I have been dancing for over eleven years, continuing my training even after moving to Israel where tap is not so common and often overlooked as an art form. Despite that, my passion for tap has only grown stronger and I have kept training and performing over the years.
Recently I qualified to represent Israel in tap dance at the Dance World Cup, and I am hoping to travel to Spain this summer to compete. I am incredibly grateful to Miss Erna for giving me such a strong foundation and inspiring my love for dance from the very beginning.

Isabella auditioned successfully to play little Cosette in Les Miserable:
The Staged Concert in 2019
She sang and performed together with Alfie Boe as Valjean and Michael Ball
as Javert and the fantastic cast of Les Mis.
Her beautiful voice together with her ballet and tap training helped her to
get the job. What an experience and I’m sure we will see and hear more of
her!
Most of the dancers in this picture started with Jumpup at a very young age and they all continued till they left for University after passing their RAD Intermediate or Advanced examinations.
Marina is currently in her third year of studying Medicine at Barts, is still dancing and is now the president of the Dance Society at her University.
I remember her saying “Keeping the ballet classes going during exams makes me organise my time”
Some of the others continued on zoom and kept dancing throughout their Uni year. Some dancers have now finished Uni and have returned to their dance classes with Jumpup.
“Once a dancer, always a dancer”
